Behringer TD-3 Announced

Clone manufacturer BEHRINGER has announced the imminent release of TD-3, their analog TB-303 clone. The announcement video shows off some of the features, including CV/MIDI and a built-in distortion, before going into a bunch of sound demos. There's no release date or price yet, but it is rumored to cost around $150.

Wasn’t ready in the 80’s and am not ready now either lol. When these things came out back then they were kinda a joke in the music shops here in Los Angeles (same with the TR-808), but these days the jokes on us I guess since people went on to win grammy’s using the darn things lol. What I’m ready for is their OBXa clone 😜

Nahh.. the TR-808 was never considered a joke. It was always pretty much a high-end studio tool, hence its immediate impact in the sound of pop music right from the moment of its introduction. Perhaps you are thinking of the TR-606, which suffered a more similar fate to the TB-303 back in the day :-)
