4 Things I Hate About the Electribe E2 (Late Night Tips)

YouTuber HalutioN has been featured here quite a lot with his Electribe 2, but he has some gripes. Here he tells us the four things he hates about the device.

Video Description:

Although the new Electribe E2 is a pretty cool machine, it has 4 annoying limitations that we'll explore in this video.

Elektron Octatrack + Elektron Monomachine + Moog Slim Phatty + Korg MS-20 Mini + Nord Drum + iPad Samplr + Electribe 2 + Ensoniq MR76 + Korg Volca Keys + iConnectMidi4+ + TC Electronic Dittox4 + Line 6 M9 + Line 6 M5 + iPad Samplr
Additional samples from Yamaha MK-100.

As a E2 user I have to agree on most of these. #3 is remedied by using the EG controls in the Modulation section, but it would still be great to have dedicated Amp & Filter ADSR's on each track.

I'm sure the last 2 gripes are limitations based on the sound engine and are there to prevent note robbing etc, since they already packed a lot into a pretty small unit.

However the midi issues are SPOT ON, and I hope that someone at KORG is paying attention. Midi Thru would be amazing, as well as midi track assign.

My E2 update wish list is long, but one I would absolutely LOVE would be patch saving... Holy Moly... that would be amazing.
