I was strongly considering the 49SL Mk3. I really like my ZeroSL MkII; the build and feature set are amazing (though I wish it had one more expression pedal input).

I love that the 49SL Mk3 has high scan rates (10K) for it's velocity sensing engine. That's important to me because I've studied the velocity outputs of keyboards, and observed that most of the keyboards I tested have slow scan rates, and don't track velocity very well. Most people won't notice, but having tested various models and A/B'ed them, the difference is there and it is important.

Having drum pads is kind of a wash-- but I think of it as a cheap way to have a little mini keyboard on another channel.

The deal breakers for me are:
1. the key length is shorter. It may seem like splitting hairs, but I want full length keys. It's also important for registering key response.
2. I'd really prefer 72-76 keys. I think a 72-key lowest F to highest E makes prefect sense. Even a 61-key version would be fine. 49 keys are useful, but not AS useful.
3. Feature overkill, there are too many features I wouldn't use, CV, sequencer, LED's especially.
4. Is Dabbler serious that you can't program the buttons/sliders/pads from the unit itself?!
