MPC Live + MC-101 + Korg Gadget Hardware Jams Challenge

YouTuber Maxipok Music participated in the Hardware Jams Group weekend challenge, which asked participants to make something inspired by a photograph of a burned-out music venue. His hardware includes an MPC Live, and MC-101, but his lead synth is coming from Gadget!

Video Description:

This week the Hardware Jams Facebook Group weekend challenge was to make something inspired by a photo of a burned-out music venue. The picture showed lots of rusting, charred music gear in a cavernous space.

The metallic machinery noises at the start of the track represent the burned equipment, and I used some echo-y vocal samples to represent the large empty space.

The Akai MPC Live is playing drums and samples, and sequencing 4 midi synth tracks on the Roland MC-101, and a Korg Gadget lead synth track on an iPad.
