Tera Synth Update

VirSyn's popular Tera Synth got a nice update today with new MIDI learn options, a new distortion algorithm, and a new delay algorithm that avoids crackles when you change tempo.

What's new in Tera Synth v1.4.0

  • MIDI Learn with separate MIDI channels
  • MIDI Sync drift problem solved
  • New Delay effect algorithm avoids crackles on tempo change
  • New 4xOversampled Distortion algorithm for antialiasing
  • Inter App Audio Tempo sync

Buy Tera Synth on iTunes: $19.99

Nice to see multiple channels for MIDI control. That opens up options and simplifies some things.

I really like this synth, but haven't dug into it very much.

Does anyone have an opinion about how this compares to SunRiser?

@stub: tera is a modulation monster, you can combine many differenr waveforms and do more complex fm synthesis (and much more) - sunrizer is great, tera for me more deep.

I find SunRiser more immediate and tera is more deep. I like and use both but don't really use them for the same type of tones so never really considered comparing them before.

Thanks for that. I can see why that would be the case. The UI's are about as different as they can be.
