A Trip To the Moon

Bad Maxton did an iOS-heavy soundtrack scoring for Georges Méliès' 1902 moving picture film Le Voyage dans la Lune. Originally a silent film, Bad Maxton adds both music and sound effects in this video! This is quite good!

Video Description:

Second half of the classic 1902 movie by Georges Méliès, with soundtrack and FX by Bad Maxton.

All sounds were generated using the following iOS synths, recorded in Ableton Live 8:

  • Nanologue
  • BeatMaker 2
  • ThumbJam
  • DrumJam
  • Sunrizer
  • Stria
  • Audiobus 2

In a rush, so just had a chance to watch the first three minutes. WOW! What a whacked film, and what a brilliant musical interpretation! Great recording, and the music/visuals are beautifully choreographed...

Fantastic visions never get old...I will finish this one up later today...
