Mode Machines x0xb0x for iPad Preview

Alex Smith, aka Alkex Instruments posted this preview of Mode Machines x0xb0x for iPad. Mode Machines is a German boutique synth manufacturer with experience making hardware x0xb0xes, and even more experience insisting that I do not qualify for a discount on a SID. Alex Smith has developed a lot of music apps, the most notable being chiptune iPhone app Bleep.

Among 303 clones the x0xb0x is probably the most user-friendly, so although there is already BassLine, bleep!BOX, technoBox2, ReBirth, Rhythm Studio, Tabletop, etc., this is a welcomed addition! Mode Machines x0xb0x for iPad is expected to be released within "days" and available for free.

This is pretty neat, but what would be sweet is an accurate 606 emulation, both in sound and behaviour, with Audiobus support.

Are you sure i16? Could that not just be a video production decision rather than a limitation of the app?
