Magellan NanoLoop Jam

I am loath to post to videos with the audio coming from a camera mic, but I'll make an exception for this exceptional convergence of mobile music tech! Armed with this faithful old Gameboy running NanoLoop, a new Korg mini KaossPad 2, his iPad running Magellan, and a flair for dramatic sounding music, Pandurris has a nice little mobile studio setup!

Hehehe thanks for the exception posting my video! I'm controlling the Gameboy with the arpegiator of the Magellan synth, but in the gameboy I'm not using Nanoloop directly. This cart of Nanoloop can be loaded with 2 extra 32kb roms. I installed the "mGB" rom, a little piece of software made by Trash80. I converts the gameboy in a full chiptune sound module, assigning an individual channel for each sound generator on the Gameboy. That's it. And thanks again :D

Oh yes, mGB looks very interesting, especially when the Gameboy is slotted into a Synthboy! Having a dedicated chiptune MIDI module makes that combination very tempting!
