triqtraq - chessy name, awesome app!

I saw this in the stream of new iTunes apps this morning, but didn't really think twice about it after seeing the name and screenshots. Fortunately developer Sebastian Schatz sent me an email pointing to an amazing video of it in action.

I'm impressed! I think this goes on my list of reasons to get an iPhone.

They've even put together a whole bunch of tutorials on their YouTube channel, link is to a playlist for all 8.

Buy triqtraq on iTunes: $1.99 (iPhone)

I've been playing with this for a couple of days, I have to say it's very cool. Watching the tutorial videos on the developers website is recommended as there are a lot of really nice features, and they're well implemented, with a slick interface and smooth workflow.
Hopefully future updates will fill in some of what are bound to be heavily requested options (like some sort of pasteboard option, amonst others). However, as a realtime jamming tool, it's highly recommended.

I picked this up yesterday and it is pretty cool! The workflow reminds me a little of my Electribe EMX. Can't wait to see what they do with it. Would love to record samples on the fly and modify start and end times of each sample along with all the other obvious ones (MIDI control, copy/paste, record song, wifi transfer, etc.)
