CatSynth TV: Noisemusick

Amanda from CatSynth TV shows off Fluxama's 2012 app Noisemusick, based on the Atari Punk Console.

VOLUME WARNING: Keep your hand on your volume control for this one... it's a bit noisy.

Video Description:

We present a demo of Noisemusick by Fluxama, one of our favorite iPad music apps. It generates a variety of chaotic sounds via four touchplate controls along with two knobs for modifying the sound. It is based on an earlier hardware kit of the same name.

"The Noisemusick app is a collection of THREE controllable synthesizers that generate interesting chaotic sounds. Have fun creating sonic bedlam, exploring weird soundscapes, or use it to GREAT EFFECT in your live performances and recordings. It's squonky electric FUN for the whole family!"

I’m not sure what iOS version this presenter is using, but after updating to 13 this app displays off center so not all the controls are visible and changing play surfaces is impossible.

Yeah that bug is very annoying. The only way to work around it is by making sure you hold your iPad in portrait mode when starting up the app. Once it is running you can rotate it back to landscape mode and the instruments will be centered properly so you can still use this app.
