I went through the chords and found these errors:
LABEL=ACTUAL:
sus2=add2
sus4=add4
b5= diminished triad (i.e., 1 b3 b5 as opposed to 1 3 b5)
ø7= fully diminished 7 (that symbol means half-diminished)
o7= dominant7 b5 (o7 means fully diminished 7)

The add9 add11 and add13 are literally a triad with a 9, 11, and 13 (an octave up 2, 4 and 6) which isn't typically how those get voiced in actual playing.

Given that the developer is probably not very experienced with chord voicings (and might have consulted various resources), I'm impressed at how ambitious Cem was at including all those options.

There are some minor things that might be difficult to implement. For example: if I'm in the key of C (I), and I make a sus4 chord on F (IV), the 4 will be a #4 (lydian); it's a beautiful sus4 sound. The sus2 and sus4 in ChordBud 2 completely ignores the key you are in. I'm not griping though. I think it would be tricky to implement.

I want to confirm that with the inversion and octave options you can have quite smooth voice leading between chords.

Thanks a lot for reporting! More useful than a demo.

I still think it is a brilliant app. The thing is, it is such a clever idea, and comes so close to this ideal I have in my head. It's hard for me to suppress my little wish list about how I think it should work.

Right now the ad hoc chord picker (which ignores the current scale, anyway) has 20 options (in addition to "none"). First, "none" should be renamed to "triad" (constrained to scale).

I'd love to see it have a selection of shapes-- all constrained to scale. For example:
123, 124, 125, 135 (triad), 145, 1235, 1345, 1236, 1237, 1347, 1357, 2367

That gets you bunches of chords, and if you need different qualities you can find them from other scales. But if you still don't get at the voicing you want-- you toggle to a custom chord mode and the selections change to "chord member" picker buttons-- where the root is the current chord root (not the scale root):

R b2 2 b3 3 4 TT 5 b6 6 b7 7 8 b9 9 #9 10 11 #11 12 b13 13

I like including the Root, because you can decide if your chord voicing doesn't have a root.

There's a bug where if I make a chord progression, one or more chords in the progression don't play. There's just silence for that measure. I'll drop a note to the developer, even though by now he's probably ready to issue a restraining order.
