Scarf Dancing Tutorial (KG1 - Grade 1)

Ms. Anastasia is one of many teachers that is now teaching from home during the pandemic. I think she's a music teacher, because I found her showing the little ones how to play with the iXylophone app.

I wanted to highlight this scarf dancing tutorial. We did not have scarf dancing lessons when I was in school, so I was never able to follow my dreams and join an Authentic Klezmer Wedding Band.

Video Description:

You can use a scarf, a pretty T-shirt, or even a pillowcase!
Practice this 2-3 times. Then try it with some different music.
Create 3-5 of your own special scarf movements.

Not trying to brag or anything, but, I invented (with a little help from my friends) all those dance moves years ago. Back when you and some fellow beer-swizzlers could decide on the spur of the moment to raft and yak down the Westwater stretch in UT without permits. A rattlesnake (I think. It was dark after all.), although I admit it might of been a western hognose, made it's way inside my tent, somehow or other. What followed was a whole lot of the "rainbow" move and especially the "bunny hop" move and every move in between until I got the thing outside the tent flaps. Just say'n, credit where credit's due is all, you know. Snakes don't get near the credit they deserve. But if it is for the little kiddies then I'm okay with it!

If you are having a hard time imagining my snake dance I assure you it looked nothing like this:
