AUDIOMODERN EOOD released Filterstep. This is a completely free filter plugin for iOS, Windows and macOS! This is a sequenced filter, so it can add interesting rhythmic patterns to your filtering for extra grooves.

Filterstep is a creative motion filter plugin which provides all kinds of intricate rhythmic movement to any input in real-time.

It can give you incredibly complex and nuanced results based on various filter effect settings, and almost infinite possibilities for sonic exploration through filter randomization.

You can choose between three filter types, range, frequency, quantization, sequencer movement and more.
Craft interesting patterns, or let it run endlessly using the infinity mode.

Add filter motion and shape any sound into a groove.

Well-crafted and useful. Played with it for just a few minutes but it’s already inspiring me. For instance, adding movement and rhythm to Mononoke. Or adding an unusual form of pseudo-wah to a lead line…

Been using Riffer on occasion. Filterstep takes similar ideas in unexpected directions, which is rather neat.
The fact that it’s free is just a bonus. Many people release free stuff, these days. What makes this special is that it’s a new and innovative app, not just a temporary deal on an existing product.
Yes, thank you for a rather interesting approach, and offering it to us for free, much appreciated at this crazy time. May you go on to make many more innovative and interesting apps that net you a tidy sum, if that is something that would be helpful for you.

Like the simplicity of Riffer. Use it frequently. Stable, easy to use, flexible, plays well with other effects. The Riffer randomizer almost always sounds good. This Filterstep looks like Riffer, just without the piano roll. Obvious no-brainer for downloading if you've got the space.

Thank you.
