Glitch Clip - New VJ App

Glitch Clip is a new VJ app is being described by VJs as a, "poor man’s Resolume for iPad." The initial version is somewhat limited, but the developer has big plans for it. These include an Expert Mode In-App Purchase, which promises to add MIDI control.

Glitch Clip App Store Description:

1 / Select short video clips and start remixing it. Add effects (kaleidoscope, mosaic, twist and more) and glitch things!

2 / Switch from one clip to another really fast, it's made for live performances. You can also import your own clips.

3 / Explore generative art, fine tune your effect stack to make artsy videos you can then share with your friends!

EXPERTS / You can connect a keyboard or MIDI device to control the effects in live.

Glitch Clip is made for video DJing (VJing) but feel free to have fun and use it your own way!

YouTuber HÄXANÄX brought Glitch Clip to my attention with this short demo.

Looks good , but I still prefer Utami's abandonware GlitchGif by Adam Rokhsar. It had fullMidi control and could handle 128 GIF files no problem, sound reactive too,.

“A poor man’s Resolume”. That’s cute, and not accurate. As a long time Resolume user, I can safely say nothing on iPad comes close. The best app out there for replacing Resolume is TouchViZ. If you are serious, Don’t waste your time and money on Glitch Clip, When already there is something vastly more capable.
