God forbid those fucknuts actually do an update offering what people have been begging for for years... general midi learn! They are not part of Novation anymore! There’s no reason to be pimped to the fucking launchpad hardware!

Midi learn would be great and would make it professional. One little thing I hate about this app is there is no timecode, clock or beat measure to know how long your song is when you’re making it. When I used to use this app I’d need to have a watch or my phone to have any idea how long the song I was working on was. Sample upload was also a bitch — one at a time unlike beatmaker 3, maybe they fixed that by now. But it kept me from using it more. Also i like beatmaker 3 you can’t use AUs, which is a shame and it would be amazing if you could. But that’s advanced if they could fix the midi mapping and little things I would use it more. The in-app samples, though curated well, tend to be overcompressed which limits post app processing. It’s a fun app to use and a great place to start but I use my launchpad mini with grid instrument, AUM and custom setups now because I have way more flexibility. Launchpad could be great but it’s like they want to limit it to sell more sample packs. I would buy more sample packs (they are so cheap compared to other apps) if this was a more pro app.
