Lagrange Synthesizer by iceGear Instruments

iceGear just released Lagrange Synthesizer! This Universal iOS synth lets you easily rewire the synthesis engine, with 20 different routings available. Lagrange arrives with AUv3, Audiobus, and an official demo!

Lagrange Synthesizer App Store Description:

Lagrange synthesizer has two oscillators, a noise generator and two filters that can be selected from various algorithmic models. You can choose from 20 different routings to connect these modules. With this feature, Lagrange makes it possible to create a variety of tones in short steps.

Lagrange works not only on the iPad but also on the iPhone. It also supports Audio Unit Extensions (AUv3), so you can plug in to AUv3 compatible host. For each screen size, different layouts are designed to be easy to use and intuitive.

It looks cool and combines some interesting features-- including the various modeling options for the oscillator.

Interesting to see comb filters as part of the filter options.

I have all their synths, this one is pretty great. Like a smattering of their other synths in one. It’s a bit like Sugarbytes Factory or Propellerheads Thor.

I like all the IceGear synths. Cassini was one of the first iOS synths I acquired and used a lot. However I wish there was state saving in the AUv3. I would tend to use them a lot more if I didn't have to rebuild AUM projects and remember what preset went with which channel. Hopefully this will be implemented sometime.

This thread is a bit old, but I only finally picked up this synth.

The strongest first impression I have is that everything is so goddamn tiny. They squeezed the entire GUI onto one screen and it is a bit ridiculous. Fortunately for me, there's a part of my brain that kind of likes an elegant yet compact control panel. As long as I don't end up fighting with it...

It's quite versatile!
