Alpha Preview: BeepStreet Drambo

Last month Fleksi TV teased us with a look at BeepStreet's next app Drambo. At the time it looked like a drum module with some influence from Impaktor. In his latest video we see that it is much much more than that!

Drambo is a full-on modular groovebox. The UI looks pretty messy, but keep in mind that this is an alpha. There is a good reason we don't often see apps in this early stage of development.

Video Description:

As per title. Enjoying testing this immensely fun yet complex modular groovebox.

I think that comment ‘UI looks pretty messy’ is quite unfair since the video hardly even shows the UI. Also this is just the trigger view. The UI is very intuitive and logical. It makes creating modular structures quick and is visually informative. An absolute step up from the spider web mess most of modulars become. In fact...this is super clean as far as modulars go IMO. BeepStreet is a genius.

I wanted to lower expectations so people didn't think this is what the final product will look like. Typically in development the UI is the last thing you work on, because then you know what your UI needs to be. If you work on the UI too early, you end up having to redo or throw-out your UI as the development evolves.

I love the layout too though!
