There is an Ice Hockey League in Australia! I'm as surprised as you are!

YouTuber Pete Johns is their announcer and, judging by this video, their whole A/V team. Here he shows how he runs things. Naturally he brings his trusty iPad to play clips using Sound Byte.

They call it “ice hockey”? Sure, there are other forms of hockey but it sounds like “field football”…

LOL! We call it that in some parts of the States. There is Roller Hockey too, so they try to distinguish it. In California roller hockey was kind of popular when I was growing up. One of my first jobs was as a Roller Hockey coach/instructor/babysitter for the City of San Jose youth program at their downtown roller rink.
Fair enough, @Tim! From a Canadian perspective, though, it just feels odd.
(Never played hockey and even my skating skills are almost nonexistent. But hockey is kind of a thing around here.)
