Those of you in the Midwestern United States and Great Lakes area may not be happy with reader Wayne Rowand's choice of graphics for this one. We got lucky in my part of the Chicago suburbs with only 5" on the edge of the blizzard. It was a bad one, with a mean combination of wetness that immediately turned into ice and knocked down power lines. If you're not already under a pile of snow, you'll enjoy this contemplative piece!
