Chris Randall - ambient_03 add9

Last week developer Chris Randall showed us how he made a musical robot out of wood. Today we get to hear it in action on this jam with apps and ambient guitar noodling.

Video Description:

Sunday afternoon ambient vibes. A chord from Audio Damage Quanta is recorded on to the microcassette, then played back as a bed for the track. My DIY solenoid-Arduino-hammerthing provides the rhythm through a Koma Field Kit, and an Airline Stratotone guitar to Count To Five pedal to H9 provides the meandering. All in to an iPad Pro running AUM for the mixing and recording duties. Bram Bos' Rozetta Rhythm provides the MIDI for the hammerthing, and various Audio Damage plugins sprinkled throughout.

The "making-of" video for Hammerthing is on my Analog Industries channel; you can find it here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0J3IK...
