Analog Industries: Contact Mics and Arduino and Solenoids

Audio Damage's mad scientist Chris Randall blogs at Analog Industries and makes things on the official Analog Industries YouTube channel. His latest creation uses wood, solenoids, an iPad, and the dry climate of Arizona to make a MIDI controlled music robot! Here he shows us how it was put together and how it sounds!

Video Description:

Some fun with an Arduino Leonardo's MIDI-over-USB capability, along with a Rube Goldberg contraption I whittled on my Shapeoko machine to let some solenoids whack some Field Kit jank.
