RE-1 by Numerical Audio

Numerical Audio released RE-1, a new virtual tape machine that I nearly spilled the beans on last week! I was pretty excited for this one as soon as I heard about it. You get the usual fun stuff like tape-based echo and chorus, but it also lets you play around with it like a performance effect. There's sampling, looping, overdubbing just like a real tape recorder! There are even some built-in effects to help you design the resulting sounds.

RE-1 arrives with AUv3, Inter-App Audio, Audiobus, Ableton Link, and MIDI; for both control and tempo.

RE-1 iTunes Description:

RE-1 - Tape Echo

I'm really looking for an auv3 dictatphone simulation.
Pretty fun feature set and sounds for $5.

I bought this thanks to Tim and Doug who have promoted this app...developers (and maybe Apple) take note....

I had a quick go , sounded nice, but some of the menu options are tiny / use tiny text , even on iPad Pro / full screen or aum . Eg preset text , selecting a sample. Would be nice if when bpm sync is on the delay time is not ms based too , I guess steps / 1/8 , 1/16 etc.
But it’s a nice approach and I moan a lot.
