Funny. I was just playing with Oscilab the other day and was reminded of how good it can sound despite a slightly wonky workflow.

Yanno, for as much as we like to bitch about iOS, Android is pretty awful for updates. Unless you have a Pixel (or whatever Google's calling their hardware collaboration at any given release) or are lucky enough to have a supporting port of Cyanogenmod and daring enough to try it, you're likely to only get one or two subversions of updates. Then you're expected to commit your doodad to the landfills and buy new again, since apps will increasingly become "not optimized for your device." Mobile devices aren't exactly green, as it turns out, even without mention of Mongolia's Bautou deathlake.
