Is there a way to send audio originating from ableton to iOS using windows? Can't seem to get that to work?
Thanks
matt
@Matt -- yes. Just turn on FX Loop for the track (tap the image -- it's actually a button). Audio from the track will stream out to the iPad, and then run through whatever effects app you have in that channel, and then drop back into your Ableton track.
Drop us an email if you can't get it working, but it should be easy-peasy to get going.
thanks for the reply. :) That is exactly what I have been trying. Doesn't work. I have an iPad Air2. Using Windows 7 and Ableton 9 suite.
Thanks
Matt
All is Ok in my Cubase v8.0.20 - 64 bit @windows 8.1 @ Audiocard USB Roland - DUO-CAPTURE EX and iPad Air. For midi i've used the software LoopMidi. I've tested a simple project in Cubase 8 64 bit with Ipad iM1 and VST M1 (from legacy Collection). The sounds are the same!!! With latency 128 in Music IO Setting and low latency (96) in DUO-CAPTURE EX setting i've latency of 13 ms for VST M1 and 22ms for Ipad iM1 !!!
I can get audio from my ipad into ableton just fine and even use the fx loop with audio originating from my ios looped back into ios and then back into ableton.
I just can't get audio originating from Ableton into ios fx loop. Strange.
I can get it to work with FL Studio but not Live 9
