Anyone recommend this app?

I'd recommend Xenon if you fancy making loops to then export into other apps. However, compared to say Nanostudio or Cubasis, it's rather limited, and its selecting of sound presets is extremely clunky. And, I still can't find a way of getting the behaviour of the knobs to change from circular to linear (sliding finger up/down). What I do like about it, is that its synths are quite fun to play with and have a few interesting modulation possibilities, you can also drive the filter- for uber-fat bass, and it has a swing control. Try doing swing reliably on Nanostudio (you can, but it's fiddly). Definitely worth it if you consider that the cost of the app is less than a cup of Starbucks. But the update, without the Synthstation support, although understandable, is a shame, as we all still own one of them as well as an old iPhone!
