Traktor DJ Updated with Audiobus & IAA!

Exciting news poured in yesterday that Native Instruments has finally embraced Audiobus in Traktor! The update also includes IAA support, and both only as an Input source. The update is for both versions of the app, and comes along with a sale! Thanks to readers Empolo, h79, Conor, and Rok for writing in with the news!

What's new in Traktor DJ (both) v1.6:

  • Audiobus integration – chain apps like GarageBand and Effectrix with TRAKTOR DJ
  • Inter-app audio integration – stream audio output to other apps
  • Open your recorded mixes in other apps like Dropbox
  • Double-tap EQ and volume sliders to reset
  • Relative EQ and volume slider control
  • Improved search functionality
  • HotCue drawer remains open after loading

Buy Traktor DJ on iTunes: $4.99 (On Sale, from $9.99)

Buy Traktor DJ for iPhone on iTunes: $0.99 (On Sale, from $1.99)

I'm *really* hoping iMaschine is next too. As I've said elsewhere, even if they choose not to go the AB route, adding Dropbox support for exporting projects to Maschine would be a huge improvement. I don't want to mess with iTunes for moving my projects around. Throw in Audiocopy support and for me, AB isn't as much of a priority.

Also, they released a new Maschine Expansion (Caribbean Coast) that hasn't showed up in the iMaschine in-app store as of yet. I'm all like "please let that be because there's an app update coming on the heels of the Traktor DJ update..."

Yes hoping for imaschine too. Crappy choice of music for this traktor ad, the Dj says "I was into Techno", but the music sounds like Rap, R n B or something monstrous....

You're seriously tripping if you think that sounds anything like Rap or R&B.

Agreed with above. Please do maschine next. Acp and audiobus are always welcome ... :)
