haQ attaQ - How It's Made

Jakob Haq has done a behind the scenes video on how his haQ attaQ Let's Plays are produced. Fun Fact: I also use 2 boxes to bring the iPad up to a comfortable height for use while standing!

LOL, nope. For my setup I need a large box and a small box to do this kind of counter-weight thing to keep it on the edge of my desk for recording. It was a huge pain in the ass.

The trick is to get close enough to the webcam to record my face, and the mic to record my voice, while keeping the iPad elevated... and balanced properly so it doesn't fall off while I'm jabbing at it. I tried a bunch of different boxes and settled on a Wii U box for the large bottom box, and the box for my KRK KNS-8400 headphones on top.
