Akai Rhythm Wolf Now Shipping

Akai's extremely affordable drum machine and bass synth, Rhythm Wolf, is now shipping on Sweetwater for $200. This presents an even greater value than Korg's Volca range, which would be $300 to get both the drum and bass synths. Akai has released a new video of the device in use by Big Black Delta, via MATRIXSYNTH.

There hasn't been a RW video that really sells the device and this is just one more.

Like I say, anyone can make a video but not everyone can make a VIDEO... pretty sad.

See if you can get one for review Tim. That would be the best thing Akai could do other than let me do one!

LOL, I'll tell them do give it to you. I'm afraid I'm not personally interested in this. I just wanted to report on it since it is a relatively afforadable bit of analog kit that is now shipping. A big surprise considering Akai only announced it this year, and usually they need at least 2 before they're ready to ship stuff they announce! ;)

It would be interesting to see a review of the RW vs Volca Beats+Volca Bass.

Is this class compliant? Can it be sequenced with an iOS DAW via usb midi?

The howler is the howling effect...Jesus and then he points to the "howling wolf". That appears to be the limit of effects on this drum machine. Bah!
