Grain Science got its first update of 2013. Though it is primarily just a compatiblity update for the latest third-party SDKs, there are some other improvements and it is nice to see this app is not abandoned!

What's new in Grain Science v1.5:
- New: Support for MIDI Pitch Bend and Polyphonic Aftertouch
- Compatibility updates:
• Updated to AudioCopy 2.0
• Updated Dropbox SDK
• Updated AudioBus SDK- Improved: Easier to swipe from keyboard to control panels on iPhone
- Improved: Artefacts when installing/uninstalling FX units
- Improved: Faster instrument library migration

Was wishing for a sale :-)
Too many apps this month :-(
Ah but there's more months to come, seems strange to bemoan the plethora of excellent apps we get to play with :)
This is one I have resisted so far, anyone any thoughts on this? Is it worth the asking price?
Baddcr you dont have grain science, all i can say is you have been missing out on 1 of the best synths for ios,i had dm1 playing yellofier loops in grain science this morning,i love this synth,in my eyes still the best grainular synth on ios.
@Baddcr: Is it worth the asking price? Well I don't know if you like it but for me it is like andre said- one of the best synths for ios! Seriously I think this is one of the essentials.
There is another Wooji Juice produced grain synth called 'Sylo' and if I remember right it's free (no Audiobus but Audiocopy). After getting Sylo, I immediately bought Grain Science and I never regretted doing so. It is quite deep and complex and even a few months after starting to play with it, I'm still far from knowing all about it/ using its full potential.
Wooji Juice / Canis if you're reading this: thanks a lot for the amazing Grain Science and this update!
Thanks @andre and @synthandson... it's now very much on my shopping list!
I've spent a small fortune in the app store already this month, but it will be mine soon, looking forward to it :)
Just to back up andre & synthandson, Grain Science totally rocks - I would put it in the same bracket as Animoog and nave for usability and sonic joy.
A bit out of the thread, but,if you like grain science,(i really do),you should try grain bender.for me ,this synth is just fantastic.really worth a try.and sure audiocopy and audiobus available.thanks.
