IK Multimedia's Sample Tank On Sale for $5!

IK Multimedia's Sample Tank has been around since 2011, and well regarded by many in that time. Although the app has been available for $10 on some sales, today's $6 price tag is the lowest the app has ever been listed at!

If you snap this up make sure you have over a gigabyte of free storage because this is going to need it!

Buy Sample Tank on iTunes: $5.99 (On Sale, from $19.99)

Shows as $6 on the app store. Seems like a great deal but I haven't tried it before. Can you customize patterns or are you stuck just selecting preset samples to play within the app?

Ack! That's my fault, I totally misread it. Thanks for pointing that out, I've corrected it in the article and link.

Does it have audiobus and copy paste?

Kobamoto:

Yes it does. It also has pop up ads.

Really? Ugh, bad times. I was interested in playing w/the app, but even for $6, i don't want to be seeing any ads.

According to lots of posts on the audiobus forum, it really isn't an ad so much as it is a splash screen that hawks their iRig interface. But otherwise it is like the splash screens that most apps (like Sunrizer, Loopy) have - they've just repurposed it a bit. With that said, I think I'll skip this app since I read that it is a horrible drag on the iPad2 and doesn't play well with other apps open at the same time.

Yea it got the splash screen too. The pop up ads will interrupt the audio and your playing since you do need to press them away. Performance wise I haven't had any issues on ipad 2, but I haven't exactly used it that much with other apps and so on.
