KoalaSan - Internet Broadcast with Audiobus

KoalaSan let's you broadcast your own Internet radio stream from your iOS device, and comes out with Audiobus support!

KoalaSan iTunes Description:

KoalaSAN allows people to broadcast to Icecast 2 servers in few steps. It can capture the device internal microphone and supports AudioBus (so you can use other applications as a sound source). It supports Ogg Vorbis and Opus audio codecs.

KoalaSAN can also save your audio stream on the fly, which you will be able to transfer via iTunes or on your Dropbox account.

Please, read a full FAQ at http://koalasan.net/faq/

Buy KoalaSan on iTunes: $6.99

This will be an especially big deal among DJs, who will often have their own private Shoutcast/Icecast stream. Now the same functionality, popular in the PC/Mac version of Traktor, will be available to all iOS apps that support Audiobus!

The video of the prototype was pulled because it mentioned features not in release. Have a baby koala instead, starts at 0:40.

Goddamn it! I hate when people do that. Thanks you very much for letting me know, I've put up a replacement!

Actually i would not advise having a baby koala-they can be very vicious animals, but their is this amazing bird that cannot fly bigger than a chicken that lives in the woods called the liar bird.It is incredible it will imitate noises it hears perfectly, recently on a wildlife program on australia they showed one that had been close to lumber men & it made the sound of the chainsaw & the warning shouts from the men as the tree fell & to finish of even the tree falling.I promise im not making this up,you could have alot of musical fun with that bird.

When I was looking for a replacement video, there was a very cute one of a juvenile koala climbing up a girl's leg as she filmed it. "Oh he's so cute, I think he wants to climb on me. Ouch.... agh... his claws.... ack... but... soooo... cuuute!"

I think I found the footage of the Lyrebird making chainsaw sounds. Very weird bird, and vastly better at mimicry than parrots.

The only videos I found of it making music were obviously edited, because I doubt it can reproduce Dubstep in stereo, but the idea sounds very interesting!

Thats amazing with the camera sounds,im sure the documentary i saw of one was a australian documentary series narrated by a actor from neighbours, but it must be same bird as it does the chainsaw.I can imagine a australian busking on the street playing a synth on a ipad while he has a lyre bird doing drums & another samples.

I dont know how long ago you put this lyre bird video on the site because the videos quite a few years old & underneath video it has 4 hours ago someone says something like lets get some boxes go into the woods & play some dubstep & see if the lyre bird joins in,either this is 1 big coincidence or it is someone who had visited your site saw the video & decided to comment on youtube
