Chordec Updated with Improved Recognition Algorithm

Chordec, the free chord recognition app for iPhone, has been updated with a greatly improved algorithm for improved accuracy.

Here is a demo for version 1.0, the original launch version was 0.8, as it picks apart The Eagles' Hotel California.

But... What if I don't want to ignore the chord output during the percussion or applause? Maybe it's important to me. Did you ever think of that?!

@Zen The approximation is what is important. Also, this type of software works well with where the accents are. Percussion or drum sounds are not harmonic sounds as such so where the drums or percussion are overpowering the harmonic layer, you will not get a 100% chord recognition. For what it is this app is EXCELLENT and it costs next to nothing. Check out VSTs or AUs and you will be gobsmacked by the cost so this developer is doing well with a few updates already since the app was released.

I was totally kidding. I too think it's a great app and I wish I'd had it back in the days that I had to play a lot of covers. I even left a very nice on the App Store.

Yeah, Zen was only kidding around, I thought it was funny! :) It is a great app, and gets loads of updates so it's constantly improving on a terrific foundation. Thanks!

We have a first generation ipad and very disappointed we cant download this app. Is there another option for us? We have a mac pro. Any other apps similar we could use on what we have . Also have an old acer pc. Thanks for any advice you can provide.
