Sample Lab gets Dropbox Sync

Just a few days after fotoh gave us the free MagMIDI app, there is a welcomed update for Sample Lab. Now with Dropbox you can sync samples between your iDevices and computers easily... without fighting with iTune's file-sharing!

Buy Sample Lab on iTunes: $6.99

This is a great update, of course, but I have to take issue with one thing in your post, Tim.

I used to feel the same way about iTunes filesharing, that it was a real bummer, and something to fight with as you say. But ever since I discovered the joy of "sync over Wi-Fi" my troubles have been over and iTunes filesharing is great!

Now, if I'm working on my computer DAW, my iPad and iPhone are always connected over Wi-Fi to my computer, so the minute I bang out a new loop or something in an app, it's there on my computer ready to drag and drop into Logic Pro. It's actually rather futuristic! :-)

I have the exact opposite experience. I have a decent N+ wireless router, but using iTunes file-sharing over WiFi is excruciatingly painful. On that very same WiFi network it is usually faster for me to SSH in (jailbreak required) to manually track down a file and copy that over. No exaggeration, this has happened frequently.
