The iPad Piano

Chen You has a 3 iPads, so he set them up end-to-end, to make an 81-Key iPad Piano. This seems like a very space efficient 81-key configuration. He also demonstrates why you want to turn multi-tasking gestures off if you're playing polyphonic keys.

LOL. Piano is still the wrong layout for on-board iPad use. QED. :-)

Not to disparage what he has done here; it's novel and has a place, but it seems like a better use would be to hook up a midi keyboard to *one* of the ipads, and use WIST to link up the others to play other parts in sync - drums, strings, etc., and then to feed the whole output through some mixing / amplification / effects so not only to not high-pass filter it but to get some reverb and EQ in there. Then the performance would shine.

OTOH, if you've afforded three iPads, you might consider buying a stage piano ;-)

I know - it's a "because you cand demo" - kudos to him.
