TC-11 + Tabla Concert: Idiom

TC-11 developer Kevin Schlei had a concert over the weekend, exploring electronic music with the tabla. Tabla player Hindole Majumdar is excellent in this improvisational jam, with Kevin rocking 3 instances of TC-11.

Thank you very much to MATRIXSYNTH for finding this!

I love TC-11 because you can make patches that are almost their own instruments. Even with all my other iPad synths, I've been going to this one the most because of how interactive and performance-oriented it is. Having said that, it is hard to play tonal music with it (at least w/o using a sequencer module).

Anyways, I loved the video... it's obvious the developer is interested primarily in using the iPad as an instrument in a live setting. He ought to get together with the WerkBench guy and do a couple tracks :)

how is he hitting such exact notes in tc-11? i've tried it and it's pretty great but i'll be damned if i can reliably hit exactly the note i wanna hit.
