VCVCBC song sketch pad is on sale!

Reader pablof79 let me know about another great deal going on today! VCVCBC is only $5!

This is a pretty incredible song sketch pad. I have poked around at it, and really like how many features it provides, but maybe some of the folks who took advantage of the last sale can tell you more in the comments.

Buy VCVCBC on iTunes: $4.99 (On Sale, from $9.99)

Also, pablof79, that email address you used is bouncing back when I tried to reply. Post to a comment here with a different email address, in the comment email field, only I can see them that way.

I did pick this up with the last sale and I am impressed. The app has a few minor bugs which need to be worked out, but the developers are very responsive, friendly, and cheerful and those minor issues should be taken care of soon. What this app is: an essential songwriting tool for those of us who find ourselves gravitating towards one aspect of songwriting (chord changes and production in my case) at the expense of others (in my case, lyrics and melody). With VCVCBC you work on all areas of songwriting at one time (lyrics, chords, melody, and rhythm) which means that for me at least, a song actually gets written -- as opposed to a backing track which then lives forever, incomplete, on my hard-drive. So if you are a songwriter, then this app is for you. If you have no interest in writing songs and just like building up electronic tracks all day (nothing wrong with that!) you might not really "get" this app (it is NOT a music production/studio app) -- but you could still benefit from some of the chord tools they offer (the included chord progressions/changes are really useful).

There's really nothing else like it on the PC or iPad, so it's filling a much-needed void in my opinion. If you write songs but sometimes run into writers block in one or more areas of songwriting or just want to become a better songwriter, pick it up while it's on sale.

Sorry Tim, must be some typo in my last email address.

I dig this app too; I write stuff that has chords and lyrics, and this app does a nice job of handling that. It's not the most polished app in the world, but the developers have put it together in a logical and usable way. There's nothing else like it that I'm aware of, and well worth the money if you write songs.

And don't freak out Tim. I'll be posting from a wide range of IP addresses over the next few weeks, but it's me....

LOL, thanks for the heads up! I honestly only ever check IPs when someone is up to no good.
