Vjay, from the makers of Djay

The hugely popular Djay app now has a video-specific brother, Vjay. This looks like a really well designed Video Remixer, with a clean interface and some nice transitions and effects. It comes with a handful of videos, but it also supports your own video library as well as anything you've bought on iTunes.

There is an introductory offer, bringing the price down 50% to $10.

Buy Vjay on iTunes: $9.99 (On Sale, from $19.99)

It is unfortunately limited to iPad 2 or later, but this is hardly surprising considering how much processing must be going on to be tweaking video in real-time. The hardware support for Numark's goofy iDJ Live is a nice touch.

You should seriously check out this short intro video to see it in action.

All in all a very cool app, I look forward to seeing all of the YouTube videos this will spawn!

This looks like it would do just about everything djay does and more(but different interface and better?). Is there any reason to have both now?

I thought i read you could use songs from your library and add video (which is why i assumed it could be used like djay. don't know if that's accurate.)

I am trying to add my own videos to Vjay for a show/media arts class. The iPad I have is from work, so I don't want to sync it with my own iTunes library. I tried to Share files through iTunes (which worked fine with Colorcode VJ) but Vjay doesn't seem to load my videos. Could this be a problem with Sync or file's encoding? my videos are mov - H.264 or Mpeg4 25p. Any help welcome, thanks
