Deckadance Mobile

Image Line has expanded their iOS offerings, from the poorly received FL Studio Mobile, to include a Mobile version of Deckadance. Deckadance is a DJing application for PC/Mac, which is completely over-shadowed by Traktor and Serato, but once again Image Line beats their competition to the iOS App Store!

Buy Deckadance Mobile on iTunes: $3.99

There is no information available about what is going on in the Mobile version, and they haven't even updated their website for it yet. It looks like there is only a single Cue point and the limited iTunes description mentions effects and looping. Correction: Eagle-eyed reader Jgordon pointed out the last image on iTunes shows 4 cue points per track nested in the center-menu.

I did find a video from DJ Tech Pro that demonstrates their DJ For All controller scratching in Deckadance Mobile.

Oh, bullshit. FL Mobile pales in comparison to Nanostudio, Music Studio and Beatmaker 2. It's also lower on the top app charts than all 3 and has a lower user score. Sounds like you're the one out of touch here. Either that or you're a FL user on your computer and have some sort of brand loyalty to that trash DAW. Step your game up!

In my own defense, I like FL Studio. It isn't my preferred DAW these days, but I'm not a snobby hater. I used the very first version when it was called Fruity Loops and was just a simple drum looper.

FL Studio Mobile on the other hand was a big disappointment, and not only to me. I've never heard anyone say a kind word about it. I won't go over everyone's criticisms, but for my own sake it is just not what I want in a mobile experience. I like to lounge around and have full control of my sound, not run back to my PC to make sounds to copy over.

Hey great! I was wondering when the 1000th DJing app would be released, and my prayers have been answered.
Now I'm waiting for the 20,000th radio app release and I'll be able to breath easy.

Did you look at the pictures on the app store? The last image clearly shows 4 additional cue points.

Ah yes, I had missed that! Thank you for pointing it out, I've posted a correction.
