MIDI Studio is free!

Reader Robert W. just let me know that MIDI Studio is presently free! It has had some tumultuous price changes lately: from $11 to $4, up to $10 then back to $3. It is possible they are just giving it away to get more users, but it could also be a mistake in trying to raise the price back to $10-11, so this might not last long...

My colleagues at the other iOS Blogs seem to love this. I've been holding out for version 2.0, which is supposed to bring customization. I hope we're still on for that! In the meantime, it is a pretty app worth grabbing for a free MIDI control surface.

All these price fluctuations are really annoying. Lots of developers seem to be doing it, and quite frankly, it puts me off buying them, and it seems to be happening a lot more recently.
I want to support developers, and have spent more on iOS apps than I care to think about, but I just wish that they would do a bit more research into pricing.
I payed full price for this, and while it's certainly worth it, now it's free, it's pissed me off.
Rant over; powering down!

I've been a fan of this app from the beginning, mainly because the dual keyboard setup allows you to use virtual midi to control two synths at the same time using separate midi channels on the same iPad!

Looks like it's back up to 3.99 already.
