Audulus Updated with Virtual MIDI!

The impressive modular synth, Audulus, just got even more impressive! Now you can control it from other apps with Virtual MIDI!

What's new in 1.7

  • Added support for Virtual MIDI! Audulus can now be driven from your favorite sequencer app.
  • Added tap & hold to bring up the context menu. This is really convenient for one-handed operation.
  • Moved the undo/redo buttons to the left side.

Buy Audulus on iTunes: $19.99

I had asked the developer, Subatomic Software, about any plans to support iOS 5, but he said that they're going to stick with iOS 6. This looks like so much fun, it is really tempting me to upgrade. Ugh! So very tempting!

their advertisment is crazy

"finally, a real modular"

are they crazy? Jasuto was here since 2008.

YES Audulus HAS what Jas doesn't have and vice versa.

Though Audulus was a really nice surprise for iOs...i remember that Tempo Rubato wanted to make hiw modular synth app, but he is busy with NVWave i guess (sorry for misspelling)

ARE they busy with NWAve- any news on that? I'm totally excited about that, if it ever comes out....

Rolf has indicated, somewhat recently, on Twitter that NWave is still actively under development.

I loved the idea of Jasuto and bought it straight away.
Unfortunately I have never been able to create any useful working patches for it as I find the GUI to be a barrier.
Audulus is fast to build stuff in and easy to keep track of connections.

...it's also worth noting that Audulus is 100% less abandoned by its developer than Jasuto seems to be ;)

Yeah Audulus now is the only active player, we need more modulars

Or not)

There are pretty few Audulus iOS videos still also
