- Nu Suitcase - A perfectly tuned and manicured suitcase that represents the clean and beautiful side, with beautiful bell tine noises in the low velocities. This EP was sampled from the DI, suitcase speakers, and mic’d ambient harp and comes in a DI and fully concatenated stereo version with all of the tonal goodness from each source.
- Suitcase 88 - This is another clean suitcase with a very unique and interesting tine attack. This is great for tine lovers.
- Nu Mark I Stage - This is a very clean and dark sounding Stage EP. The uniqueness in this piano lies in the incredibly deep and rich lows with a ton of bark and expression.
- Dilluh Stage - Sampled from JFILT from Very Sick Beats who one of the top Neo-Soul Hip-Hop producers on YouTube. This EP is perfect for Hip-Hop, Jazz, Neo-Soul, and that J-Dilla, Roots, Slum vibe. It is clean with quirks, which makes it ideal for that dirty stuff.

- D’Ang CP70 - There would be no soul, without the sound of recording artist D’Angelo, who often performs live on a Yamaha CP70 Electric Grand. A CP70 sample library is a rare find and could easily cost half the price of this library alone, so we sampled a well manicured and serviced version, which sounds amazing. The sources sampled were the DI, AMP, and an XY Mic for the ambient tone. The result is a beautifully sampled version that will give you that classic D’Angelo live sound.

Flux - Liquid Audio

Flux Liquid Audio is a real time multi-effects processor and sequencer designed to be used as an AUv3 plugin within your favourite DAW such as Cubasis, NanoStudio, BM3, AUM etc.

The plugin allows you to create patterns containing multiple effects which are triggered on beat boundaries. Patterns can be contuously looped or you can chain multiple patterns into a song. The advantage of this is that you can for instance add a delay to a particular vocal phrase rather than have a continuous delay effect on the entire vocal. You could add varying harmonies using the pitch effect or create gated stutter effects on specific parts of a string section.

A pattern can be 16 to 64 beats in length and can be run at one of two speeds, standard or fast which is great for gate type effects. You can create up to 24 patterns which can be automated in any order along with your host DAW's beat position.

An effect is added using nodes. A 'node' is layed on the timeline over one or more beats, each node has its own unique settings. The node divisions control varying aspects of the effects such as number of repeats, delay time, modulation speed etc. all perfectly synced to the beat using the node division buttons.

There are 11 effects in total, Filter, Repeat, Gate, Pan, Delay, Pitch, Tape Stop, Reverb, Bit Cruncher, Reverse and Flanger, all of which can be used at the same time.

Effects Descriptions:

The filter effect allows LP, HP, BandPass and Notch filters which have definable cutoff, resonance and modulation amount. Turn the modulation up to max to start generating random cutoff and resonance values.

The Repeat function was specifically designed for beat synced sources such as drum machines, allowing sections of the previous sub-beats to be repeated at varying speeds and lengths.

The Gate effect can be used to create holes in the sound and generate stutter patterns or fades. This effect allows definable attack and release for each individual node.

Pan allows automated panning at varying speeds, but you get to mix different panning modes and speeds at each step of the pattern.

Delay is a beat synced delay which allows you to create multiple delays with varying delay times within the same pattern allowing some nice cascading effects that are not possible from a single delay alone.

Pitch allows you to add independant left and right channel pitch shifting of up to +/- 12 semitones. 'Harmony' mode allows you to add vocal harmonies at specific sections of a song, while 'Glide' mode allows you to gradually transition from the current pitch to another.

Tape Stop is a great addition allowing you to simulate a tape recorder stopping and starting, as well as some interesting scratch, warble, bounce and elastic effects.

Bit Cruncher is a great for dirtying up specific drum hits by downsampling the audio.

Flanger allows you to create subtle chorus/Celeste or heavy flanging effects which can be re-triggered or free running.

Reverse is great for creating shadow notes on drum patterns by reversing the last section of audio.

Reverb allows some interesting gate reverb type effects on specific sections of audio. The node divisions let you modulate the reverb trail for some interesting ambient effects.

Noise Gate & Downward Expander

Most of the iOS recording apps already come with a built-in noise gate effect. So why do you buy another noise gate? There are 2 main reasons: clearer sound and more natural gate-closing sound.


The simplest noise gate plugins simply set the volume to zero when the input level drops below a threshold. The abrupt change in volume from that process sounds unnatural and makes it obvious that you are using a noise gate plugin on the signal. Instead of using a gate that fluctuates between two states (open, closed), this plugin uses downward expansion to gently and smoothly reduce the gain as the input drops below the threshold setting.

An example to illustrate this:

With the downward expansion ratio set at 2:1 and the threshold at -10 dB, when the signal drops below the -10 dB threshold level, the plugin doubles its distance from the threshold. So a signal that comes in 2 dB below the threshold goes out 4 dB below; 10 dB below the threshold comes out 20 dB below, and so on. The big advantage to this method is that when the signal is just slightly below the threshold, say 1/2 dB for example, it won't be reduced all the way down to zero volume, so you don't hear an abrupt change as the signal drops below the threshold. Instead it just seems that the quiet sounds are even quieter, and they decay faster than they normally would. This allows you do eliminate a lot of background noise without the listener knowing that you are using a noise gate.


The key challenge that all noise gate designs struggle to overcome is how to make sure the gate doesn't flutter open and closed several times at the end of a sound. This is a serious challenge because the input signal is a wave, meaning that it is constantly moving up and down and it crosses above and below the threshold with every up and down motion. How to keep the gate from opening and closing in time with the oscillation of the sound waves? There are many ways to do it, but the basic idea is to slow the gate down somehow, so it can't open and shut too quickly. Of course, slowing the gate down or delaying its closing is not desirable because we need it to close as quickly as possible when the input signal ends and open immediately when it starts up again. Each noise gate plugin handles this problem in a different way, and therefore each one has its own unique sound. To hear how a noise gate performs in this respect, set its release very fast, pluck a low guitar string (or hit a bass note on the piano) and let ring out, listening as the note decays down to the threshold level and the gate starts to activate. If your noise gate allows a fast enough release time, you'll hear a buzzing noise as the gate rapidly flip-flops open and closed for a few moments before settling in the closed position. The audibility of the buzzing sound as the gate closes determines the quality of the plugin. Any gate can avoid buzzing if its release time is set very long, but only the best of them can close down quickly and smoothly without buzzing.

This noise gate plugin has a unique smoothing filter to ensure that the gate makes as little noise as possible when opening and closing, while still being able to open and close very quickly.


The side chain input is the signal that the plugin follows to measure the input volume. If you have bass drum bleeding into your hi-hat mic, you can gate out the bass by cutting bass frequencies out of the side chain. The result is that the gate only opens when the hi frequencies from the hi-hat are sounding, not when the bass drum is bleeding through.
