MRH159 Brown Sound by Nembrini Audio

Nembrini Audio released MRH159 Brown Sound... the least interesting guitar-thing-name I've ever heard. Seriously. Guitar-thing-names are supposed to be fun. They usually are! Brown Sound? That just sounds like some juvenile nonsense, like the Mythbuster's Brown Note. MRH159 Brown Sound arrives with AUv3, Inter-App Audio, and a Variac Variable Transformer to reduce the main voltage to 90V.

MRH159 Brown Sound

Mrh159 Brown Sound Guitar Amplifier plugin modeled on a vintage Marshall Super Lead 1959* 100W which is arguably the most famous amp of all time. A Super Lead 100W at top two of 4 x 12 cabs is still for many players the definitive rock guitar rig.

YouTuber e y l v y shows off the new app in his latest video!

Igor Vasiliev - Classical Chaos

Developer Igor Vasiliev made use of his wild new BeatCutter app with a bunch of great gear!

Video Description:

Main piano theme created by Rauf Kasimov using the iGrand Piano app.

Chaotic textures were created using the BeatCutter app on iPad with external sound card Focusrite Scarlett 6i6. BeatCutter can use up to four input channels to fill the matrix of samples and construct abstract rhythmic structures from fragments of the original sound.

The four sound sources for this app were synths - Moog Slim phatty thru TC Helicon Voice works, Clavia Nord Lead 3 with Doepher Dark Time sequencer thru Roland SDE-2000, Korg MS2000, Roland Juno-60 thru Eventide Harmonizer H949. All of these synth also were recorded directly and mixed with BeatCutter output. Outputs from all instruments and the BeatCutter app were recorded on a Tascam 38 and then mixed. Reverbs AKG ADR68K, Yamaha REV7 were used for mixing.

BeatCutter is an experimental multi-channel app for slicing and recombining sound based on rhythm. In the center of the app is a matrix of sample cells with smoothly reconfigurable recording, playback and control busses. This app is best for those who would like to experiment with large audio files or live instruments, creating chaotic constructions and patterns from sliced rhythm-driven samples.

Pete Sasqwax - Uneven Surfaces

YouTuber Pete Sasqwax got some nicely textured moods out of Mononoke, with FAC Drumkit and others!

Video Description:

FAC Drumkit (loaded with percussive hits from the incredible Folktek sample pack) being sequenced by Atom 2 in an incomplete 2 bar loop (the second bar is cut short to force the loop to become unpredictable and out of sync with the other tracks). Moazaic also sending Turing Machine triggers to the percussion to provide additional variation

Rozeta LFOs modulating sample start and LPF cutoff controls in FAC Drumkit; iVCS3 Spring providing reverb.

Noir kicks underpinning the whole piece and grounding it in a definite meter.

Samplr loaded with the 6 instances from the loop within Gauss, playing forwards, backwards & pitched up, down and a mixture of the two

Gauss looping at half speed with internal sequencing and modulation from Perforator.

Mononoke as lead textural instrument, modulated by Perforator, with some notes held and some triggered individually.

Master channel with Reelbus for texture and FabFilter MB for the final clean.
