AudioLayer, from VirSyn, was updated with automatic multi-sampling! This works with external MIDI, or with other apps via IAA/AU, and is really impressive to watch in the demo. It automatically sends the MIDI notes with varying velocities to capture the instrument you want to sample!
What's new in AudioLayer v1.2.0:
- Automatic multi-sampling of external instruments (MIDI / IAA / AU) using the AudioLayer Music Effect AU
NPR Music has been doing the Tiny Desk Concerts for years now, but just like everyone else they're working from home now. Fortunately Grammy nominated suitcase owner Tank from Tank and the Bangas, downloaded Korg's free iKaossilator last night. Tank's bravery, and luggage, in this performance cannot be overstated.
The Tiny Desk is working from home for the foreseeable future. Introducing NPR Music's Tiny Desk (Home) Concerts, bringing you performances from across the country and the world. It's the same spirit — stripped-down sets, an intimate setting — just a different space.
"I'm very proud to do this, I'm very scared to do this, but I'm obviously practicing social distancing cause my group is not here." And so Tarriona "Tank" Ball of Tank and the Bangas is on the floor of her living room in New Orleans, showing us just how much fun you can have being alone. Surrounded by percussive instruments that include a suitcase, a jar of cocoa butter, a cassette box, a pen and a version of Korg's music software called iKaossilator, Tank practices her social distancing singing, "It's OK to be alone by yourself, eat by yourself, chill by yourself, read by yourself."
Just over three years ago, this band from New Orleans won our Tiny Desk Contest. Since then, they've traveled the world, put out a major label album, and like all of us, are now taking care and being careful, with Tank spreading love from her living room.

8 more days to the end of March Swam Technology to IOS coming promise, and these tricks were accomplished thanks to IFretless Family of joyful touch instuments on GarageBand IOS, then printed with GarageBand MacOS into Korg DSD recorder in DSD.
1 iFretless Sax, 2 iFretless Trombones and iFretless Bass together with drums were used in the recording. Drums were separated into kick, snare, cymbals and claps tracks. The attempt was made to lower the harsh frequencies from cymbals.
The Korg volca nubass is the most performable acid bass synth out there – with a unique analog VTO (Vacuum Tube Oscillator) providing huge, fat analog sounds, plus the ability to randomize and evolve your transpose, slide, and accent settings, run this bass synth through an overdrive (in this case, Korg’s Nu:Tekt OD:S tube overdrive pedal kit) and add some volca sample drums for pure acid breakbeat bliss.
