Import audio in Elastic FX

Hello all, I'm new and this is my first post here.

I just purchased Elastic FX and I'm trying to import an audio file so that I can add effects to it and then save it.

The program advertises that this can be done, but I see no way of doing it.

How can I do this with Elastic FX as a stand alone program? Do I need other programs along with Elastic FX in order to do this?

Please be very specific if and when you reply. Each step to take and how to do it.

Thank you for your help.
