Patterning, Patterning, Patterning, Patterning and Patterning. That is my top 5. Yes it is sample based. But the workflow is so easy and quick.
@Erik: LOL! Well that's an easy list to maintain.
Paterning and figure both have thier epic aproach to sequencing and timing exploration, cant aproach this topic leaving them out in my opinion.. but the above have a wider range of sonic ability probly.

I must add seekbeats and elastic really didnt work form me, and if electribe is in this then the jim audio grooverider and attack are probly also up there, attacks sounds are really nice but the ui is more for the bigger screen of pro perhaps...
