Cornflower Compressor by Flora Creative Ltd.

Flora Creative Ltd. have released Cornflower Compressor! As the name implies; this a new compressor effect for Audiobus, Inter-app Audio, and AUv3!

Cornflower Compressor iTunes Description:

Cornflower Compressor is a simple stereo dynamics compressor with variable knee and ratio for gooey pumps and swells.

Built upon the tenet of simplicity, the flora project presents great sounding, lightweight audio effects using Inter-App Audio and Audiobus technologies to allow you to get the sound you want, without sacrificing processing power.

More information about the flora project can be found at http://timothy-j.com/flora

Rockin Robin Cooks shows us how to make cornflower tortillas with a tortilla press, because this was the most relevant video on YouTube for Conflower Compressor. Some apps really need demo videos.

Update: Timothy J commented here with a link to the demo, which he carefully hid on Vimeo!

LOL, oh wow... I completely missed that flower vs flour. All I know is when I put Cornflower Compressor into YouTube, Ms. Rockin Robin popped up as the first result so I ran with it!
Note to developers: if you want to be taken seriously when you release an app you need to have ***some*** sort of a video for people to watch.

Even a crappy hand held video taken on your iPhone is good enough to help people decide if they want to part with cash for your app.

Why go to all the work of writing an app if you can't do the last 2% required in the project (making a vid)...?

@Simon, excellent point. I would suggest that developers who are not in the upper echelon based on public awareness simply contact Tim to get a little bit of an assist on promoting the apps they hopefully have worked hard on....oops...calm down Tim, -)

Heya, I forgot to publicly list the promo video on Youtube! I'm not really a big fan of the audio artefacts that the youtube compression adds, so I tend to use vimeo.

A demo video can be seen here:

That's an interesting point. So you have to weigh the balance between nearly-imperceptible audio artifacts against the fact that NO ONE USES VIMEO. Chrome even thinks Vimeo is a typo. It thinks I mean Vireo, which I had to look up: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vireo

I'll include the link in the article for you though, because it does sound quite nice!
