iTunes Description:
d(- -)b, the first Modular DJ App for the iPad.
Mаԁе bу thе people behind touchAble, d(- -)b provides endless possibilities for DJs with an iPad. Its modular approach lets the app adapt to the user, not the other way around. DJs can choose from pre-installed templates or create their own interface with up to 6 decks - on one or several pages - making it the perfect tool for any use-case.
The comprehensive in app editor makes it simple to configure your very own DJ setup. The numerous modules include everything a DJ needs, and allow for an incredible amount of flexibility and customization.
With beautiful color-coded waveforms instead of fake vinyl platters, and accurate tools for both worlds of beat-matching: Grid & Sync or Pitch & Nudge - it opens the door to a whole new world of touchable DJing.
Introductory Price of $9.99 - get it while it lasts!
This is quite impressive. You should check out this promo video to get a real sense for how modular this really is!

If the beat matching algorithms are as good as NI's, this could be Traktor's killer? I love Traktor, but having just two decks on the iPad version is severely limiting. I used to DJ with at least three decks and loads of other inputs (cassette, MD, CD etc), so this looks perfect, if of course it works?
Dos anyone have this? I am interested, but it has no reviews anywhere as yet. Been stung with app buyers remorse on occasion....
No key lock (no master tempo), no effects, doesn't work with iTunes Match, many crashes and bugs.
Thank you for the mini review. It might be better to hold off for a while then.
the icon looks a bit like a blue.. ahem.. nothing never mind..
Yea... I though about mentioning how it looks like the Atari symbol grew boobs, but that seemed like a cheap shot, and slightly less mature than I want to be on articles.
Downloaded it and I would have to say it is the most unintuitive app I have ever used. Can't figure out how to add music from my library. I drag-and-drop them and then when I click on the decks screen there are no songs there and no way to load them. Can't find any tutorials anywhere either. The developer really needs to make a PDF manual or even better, a YouTube video showing you how to use this app.
Looks interesting...Traktor DJ is pretty much useless to me. Lots of errors when loading songs into a deck, and tempo matching. When the tempo matching works it's great but when it's off you can forget about playing that track.
At $9.99 i mght try my luck....
