There sure are a lot of sales today. I had a look at Wikipedia to figure out if this is some national holiday or something. While it is a busy day in history, the most likely thing I can find is that this is the day Leonidas died, in 480 BCE! The Spartan guy from the movie 300. On this day we remember Leonidas, first of his name, in his valiant attempt to defend Greece from Persian invasion. Never forget!
