Jordan Rudess Previews DrumJam

Jordan has a new video of him playing with a beta version of DrumJam by ThumbJam developer Sonosaurus, with Tachyon.

Introducing an amazing new percussion app by Sonosaurus and percussionist Pete Lockett, along with my own Tachyon app with a little Steinway thrown in for good measure! It's a great time to be into iOS music because cool stuff continues to come out. DrumJam will be released some time this August.

Nice, it looks like a lot of fun!

Buy Tachyon on iTunes: $1.99

leave it to JR to promote his own app under the guise of previewing Drumjam. reminds me of when he used to write app store reviews that always ended with...

Maker of Morphwiz available on the App Store

he was called out on this practice on the palmsounds reader comments last year and stopped doing it.

Hehe, yea, I can imagine that ruffling some feathers. I thought it was fair game in this video to include Tachyon, since that just came out.

It's a nice vid. Drumjam looks interesting.

Why would anyone have a problem with him reviewing other apps while letting people know it is the same guy who created another app? Kind of high praise to be given if you dig the guys work (which I do)
