JamUp Update adds Griffin Stompbox, on sale 50% off!

Good news for guitarists! One of the most popular Universal amp/effects apps has added support for the Griffin Stompbox footswitch controller. That looks like a seriously nice deal; a full controller for about what you'd pay for a single hardware pedal. The update also adds a whole bunch of other new features:

  • Tone sharing to share and download artist and user presets
  • Griffin Technology StompBox support
  • 64 slot preset manager
  • New added Octave and Cry Wah effect
  • New bass expansion package
  • New boutique expansion package
  • Ultra low latency, 50% improvement
  • Phrase Sampler added undo support
  • Continuous speed adjust in iTunes JAM player

They've also put the app on sale, at 50% off, so you can save $10 to spend on some In-App Purchases.

Here's a product demo from Griffin for the Stompbox. I'm really tempted to get the pair to run synths through the effects.
